Shkorpilovcy village is a resort  situated 35 km to the south of Varna city. Truly peaceful and welcoming place for genuine  rest possessing a spacious beach, a plenty of mineral sources, pine and oak forests. The coast line is about 13 km long and 100 km wide and is claiming to be the longest one on the Bulgarian Black sea coast. The superb virgin sand belt connects the outflow of the Kamchija river to the north  with the resort complexes of Bjala and Obzor to the south.

Nearby Shkorpilovcy village situated reserve Longoza which offers  an  abundance of plant and animal species. Both north and south Longoza area is surrounded by two slaves of the river flowing into the Black sea. Here  raises up the cape of Black nose (Karaborun),which height is 80 m and which claimed to be the northern point of Stara planina mountain when touching the Black sea. After the elimination of Turkish influence in Bulgaria, the Czech brothers architects Carl and Herman Shkorpil project a big part of city and developing plan of Varna city including the Sea Garden, Asparuhovo district and many others. In their honor the village having Turkish name Fundukli (which mans-hazel nut) accepts the name Shkorpilovcy.
